Auld Lang Syne from the songbook “Holiday Partners!” (this book is one of the best classroom purchases I’ve made.) The reproducible scores provide a great teaching tool for the beginning chorister. Editors have extracted the vocal parts to provide a simplified reading experience. Vocally, it provides great teaching moments for sustaining the first vowel (ah) in a diphthong (mine, syne). Auld Lang Syne has become an audience sing-along tradition at school Winter Concerts. Add LED tea lights and surround your audience for a feel-good moment in your performance.
