Golden Voices

New statewide choral festival for older adults

Golden Voices is a joyful, one-day choral festival created especially for older adults (55+). It’s a chance to sing, connect, and celebrate music together in a welcoming and inclusive space. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just love to lift your voice, you’ll explore choral music that builds your skills, introduces new techniques, and spans a variety of musical styles.

At ACDA-MN, we believe music connects us all—no matter our age.

Who Can Participate?

  • Adults 55+ from across Minnesota
  • No audition required! Music-reading skills are helpful but not necessary—enthusiasm is what counts!

Cost to Participate

  • FREE!
  • Boxed lunch provided
  • Travel stipends available for participants traveling more than 100 miles round trip

How to Participate

Participants will receive music folders and rehearsal tracks to prepare in advance. Our goal is to build a choir that represents all corners of Minnesota—we’ll balance the ensemble to showcase voices from across the state.
