World Symposium on Choral Music Scholarship

The application deadline has pasted and are no longer being accepted.
One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded for an ACDA of Minnesota member to attend the World Symposium on Choral Music in Macao, China. The FMC Endowment Fund will reimburse the recipient’s expenses for which receipts are submitted up to the total amount of the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded in two installments: $2,500 payable following the award notification to assist with travel planning; and the final $2,500 immediately payable following the conclusion of the 2026 event.
Qualifications:
- Priority will be given to applicants with a minimum of 10 years active and current membership in ACDA of Minnesota.
- Membership in the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM) is required.
- Recipient must attend the entire World Symposium on Choral Music.
- Recipient will write an article on the Symposium for an up comming issue of the ACDA-MN Star of the North, and present a session based on your experiences at the State Conference or Summer Dailogue.
Applicants will be evaluated for their past involvement in ACDA-MN activities such as attending the State Conference, Summer Dialogue, and/or serving in leadership roles such as District Chairs, R&R Chairs, Honor Choir screeners, and other related opportunities. Applicants will also be evaluated on how the experience will impact one’s professional development and its impact on ACDA-MN.
NOTE: Selection will be made by the FMC Endowment Fund Scholarship Subcommittee.
